Alex is a talented performer from Canada, in town to play at some local venues on Oahu. She wanted some updated pictures for her promotional materials, so we did a session together in Waikiki with her guitar. She’s one of those people who just exudes warmth and sincerity. She was such a pleasure to work with and I wish her a long and successful music career!

Band photos for Steppenstone…

I took some promotional pictures for the alternative rock band Steppenstone the other night. With five busy members, it was hard to get the band together for a shoot so we decided to just take some pictures before a gig in Kailua. They were playing at Kailua Town Pub and the place was already packed by the time we started shooting, so we stepped outside for the pictures. All the guys were great to work with and the band has steady gigs throughout the island, so go check them out sometime!

B.E.T. at Aloha Tower…

Papa T and Pao of the local band B.E.T. were getting ready to leave to perform in Kuwait. I did a shoot with the two members of the band at Aloha Towers, to get some promotional images. Papa T was very animated! It was a fun and relaxed shoot, I know they’re going to really impress overseas…

Audissey, the music maker…

I took some pictures for musician Audissey, for use of promoting his album. We walked around Fort street and Chinatown, pausing for photos whenever we felt inspired. His manager was with us and they were both great to work with…good luck with the album, Audissey!
