Bobbie and Tom were a gorgeous young couple, who just wanted to exchange their vows on the beach. Sounded simple enough, right? Through the chaos of late taxis, hair appointments and missing ministers- their wedding day ended up being anything but simple! Luckily, we all just kept our positive attitudes and went with the flow. Bobbie had an infectious laugh that definitely helped us see the humor in the situation. They were such a fun couple and I wish them many many years of wedded bliss!

Wedding Vows at Sunset

Ron and Tana were enamored with the beauty of Hawaii, and wanted to exchange their wedding vows during a sunset ceremony. It was an intimate event with only Ron’s son, his son’s girlfriend and Tana’s best friend in attendance. I met up with the ladies as they got ready in their hotel room at the Halekulani and then rode over to Magic Island, in their limo with them. Tana was beaming the whole time! After the ceremony, the wedding party enjoyed champagne as they watched the sunset- which had a beautiful golden glow that evening…

Jennifer and Liang had an intimate ceremony on the Big Island, to exchange their wedding vows. They will have a reception later this year on Oahu, but this ceremony was when they officially became husband and wife. We took a walk afterwards for pictures and watched the sunset- very romantic! North Shore Wedding Ceremony…

Cassandra and Dominic’s wedding day was all over the island! We started out at the Royal Hawaiian in Waikiki, where they were staying. Then, we took a limo to the North Shore for an intimate ceremony by the beach. We ended the night back in Waikiki, at RumFire for dinner. Everything about the day was beautiful and unique- especially the gorgeous bride! One highlight was Dominic playing a song on the ukulele, that he wrote for Cassandra. Desiree and Dominic’s wedding will be held in China later this year, but they wanted to do a bridal shoot during their visit to Hawaii. Desiree lugged her big dress all the way from overseas! Double Vow Renewal…

Colleen and her husband, Eduardo, were celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows. Eduardo’s sister and her husband were celebrating their 21st wedding anniversary- so they all decided to just do a double vow renewal ceremony together! We met up beforehand to take some portraits as well, before the sunset ceremony got started. Everyone was in such a loving and jovial mood, it was contagious. I felt like I was family by the end of the shoot…see you all for the 50th year vow renewals!

Alex and Misty got married at city hall and wanted some portraits at the beach, in their wedding clothes. They are both professional bakers and such a fun loving couple- cracking jokes and laughing throughout the shoot. I really loved their outlook on life and could tell that they were truly happy together…best wishes to the newlyweds!
