Senior Pictures in Hawaii

Solo Photo Shoot Downtown

I met April at a previous group shoot I did for Delta Sigma Theta, Hawaii Alumnae Chapter. She recently contacted me about doing a session with just her, downtown with several outfit changes. It was a weekend afternoon and the streets downtown were pretty deserted, which made it easier. April has a great figure and looked gorgeous in every outfit she put on!

I also had to get a shot in of her two dutiful friends, who showed up to help with wardrobe changes…

Swimsuit Photo Shoot

Cheryl was in town, visiting from L.A., and wanted to get some updated swimsuit photos for her portfolio. It was a perfect sunny day and we did the shoot on the beach, right by Diamond Head. She was gorgeous, confident and very easy to work with!

Britney wanted some portraits done, to use for her Sweet 16 celebration. She wanted an urban shoot, with a more edgy feel. She was a natural model! People were constantly stopping on the street, to watch her during our session. We were able to get in some family portraits as well. Have a great Sweet 16, Britney! “Coalition of Liberated Dreamers” is a local company that designs and prints t-shirts. They needed some pictures of their new designs to update their website and I was lucky enough to be asked to be their photographer. I love their designs! There’s definitely a lot of talent in the company and everyone seemed to genuinely believe in the products they were creating…

Martinique Resort Wear…

Jodi, designer of Martinique Resort Wear, needed some photos of her new line for her website. She hadn’t found a model to her liking yet and I introduced her to Denise, for whom I had previously shot vacation photos. Jodi found her to be a good match, so we set up a shoot in Nuuanu. We lucked out- the weather was perfect. We tried to make the photos reflect just how comfortable and beautiful Jodi’s designs were. It was a great shoot, complete with props! Denise was visiting Hawaii and wanted some pictures of herself immersed in the natural beauty. We started in Kailua and came back to town for the sunset. Despite the crazy winds in Kailua, Denise managed to still look calm and peaceful in all her photos!
