Inspiration from Others…

I just wanted to share a couple of blogs that have inspired me recently. These blogs have infused new vigor into how I look at my photography, decorating my living space, as well as what I want to share in my own blog. On a more personal note…

My sister-in-law recently gave birth to her second baby girl, Mia. My husband and I made a quick trip to Seattle to meet lil’ Mia- she was such an angel…

We’ve also made some progress on our new place and I’m starting to become obsessed with home decor. I’m addicted to HGTV and have also found my “crafty” side. I found a beaten up wooden magazine rack at Goodwill, refinished it and painted it white…and also made these great little magnets out of patterned paper and plastic flowers…

Bridal Shower…

I was in Sacramento, California for the weekend- to attend my friend Christie’s bridal shower and take some photos for her. It was a beautiful Autumn day and the wine theme for the shower was perfect. Congratulations again Christie and I’m looking forward to the wedding!

Autumn in Seattle…

I’m in Seattle for this weekend and loving the fall colors. I went on a walk with my family to take pictures of the foliage, but ended up with more pictures of my family then of the leaves. I really liked this one of my father- it makes him look like a photographer…but he’s actually a therapist 🙂

Getting the word out there….

As I’m working on expanding TrueGlimpse Photography and increasing my visibility- I realized it was essential to create more of an online presence. So, I created a profile on Facebook for TrueGlimpse Hawaii Photography and we are now also listed in the Google local Maps business directory and Yahoo local Maps business directory. These arenas give my past clients a chance to share their experiences and hopefully get the word out about TrueGlimpse! Thank you to all who have taken the time to give feedback or have become “fans” of TrueGlimpse Hawaii Photography on Facebook. I also look forward to creating new contacts and answering any questions about our services…
